Direct3D / DirectX Graphic Runtime DLL Errors Fixed
Older games, and some modern titles that still use legacy graphics libraries, need the DirectX 9/10/11 helper files such as d3dx9_43.dll. Windows does not ship these by default, so a game can fail to start with a “d3dx9_43.dll was not found” message.
Important Security Warning: Do not copy
d3dx9_43.dll from a download site into System32. Use Microsoft’s installer so the files are authentic and correctly versioned.Step 1: Run the DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer
Download the DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer (dxwebsetup.exe) from the Microsoft Download Center, run it, and accept the licence. It installs every missing legacy DirectX component automatically.
Step 2: Restart and launch the game
Restart Windows, then start the game again.
Step 3: Update your graphics driver
If the error continues, install the latest driver directly from your GPU vendor (NVIDIA, AMD or Intel) and run sfc /scannow from an Administrator Command Prompt to rule out corrupted system files.
